Aarthi Belani is an associate based in the New York office.
Ms. Belani's interests include mergers and acquisitions (private), sovereign counseling and transactions, project finance, Latin America and India/Asia practice, privatizations, and pro bono transactions, international human rights and health work.
Ms. Belani joined the firm in 2005, after finishing a Junior Fellowship in the Institute for International Law and Justice at New York University School of Law, where she received her JD (Robert McKay Scholar, 2004)
cum laude and LLM (2005). She received a B.A. with honors from Stanford University in 2001. Ms. Belani serves on the Committee on International Human Rights of the New York City Bar.
Ms. Belani is a member of the Bar in New York. Her native language is English, and she is proficient in Spanish.
