The members of our Recruiting Committee make hiring decisions based on our partners’ and associates’ written evaluations of each candidate, the candidate’s academic, personal and professional achievements and our overall hiring goals. Decisions are made on a rolling basis throughout the fall interview season and from time-to-time during the year when applications are received. Candidates who receive offers are welcome to return for further visits or to request additional information that may prove helpful in arriving at their decisions. We schedule follow-up dinners in various cities to provide candidates with outstanding offers a further opportunity to ask questions and meet additional lawyers from the firm. Although we conduct most lawyer hiring for New York through our on-campus interview program, we also welcome written applications from students at schools we are unable to visit, judicial clerks and associates with relevant experience.
