Christopher H. Lunding’s legal practice most recently has focused on litigation involving the rights of Native American tribes.

In his long career as a Cleary Gottlieb partner, he principally handled complex corporate litigation matters, including product liability defense, hotel management disputes, appellate litigation and international arbitration.

Chris is a Life Patron Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and received the Marquis Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award. His biography appears in Who’s Who in America and appeared in several prior editions of Who’s Who in the World. He has authored articles in legal publications as various as the Yale Law Journal and the Journal of Multistate Taxation.

In 1998, he won a major constitutional litigation in the Supreme Court of the United States pro se, the only person to do so in modern times.
