J. Cameron Murphy is counsel based in the Paris office.
Mr. Murphy’s practice focuses on international arbitration, litigation and public international law. Mr. Murphy has represented investors and sovereigns in international arbitrations based on bilateral or multilateral investment treaties for the protection of foreign investments before various arbitral institutions and has also been counsel to both claimants and respondents in commercial arbitrations. While in New York, Mr. Murphy worked on securities, intellectual property and bankruptcy litigations in the federal courts
Mr. Murphy joined the firm in 2003, was resident in the New York office from 2003 to 2007 and became counsel in 2012. He received a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2003 and an undergraduate degree, highest distinction as a Morehead Scholar, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1998.
Mr. Murphy is a member of the Bar in New York. His native language is English, and he is fluent in French.
