Alessandro Bardanzellu is an associate based in the Milan office.
Mr. Bardanzellu’s practice primarily focuses on advising companies on EU law and on Italian and Union antitrust law, in particular on restrictive practices, merger control, and abuse of dominance. Mr. Bardanzellu represents Italian and foreign companies in proceedings before the Italian Antitrust Authority and the European Union and on appeal respectively before the Italian Administrative Courts and the European Courts. He has also gained experience in Italian and Community leniency proceedings.
Mr. Bardanzellu joined the firm in 2007. He graduated with honors from the State University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2005. In 2006, he received an LL.M. degree in “European Business Law” from the Universiteit Leiden, The Netherlands. Prior to joining the firm, he was a trainee lawyer at the law firm Bardanzellu in 2005, where he mainly focused on civil law, and he completed an internship at the Italian Antitrust Authority in 2006-2007.
Mr. Bardanzellu has been a member of the Rome Bar since 2008. He is a native Italian speaker, is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German.
