- More than 80 of our lawyers clerked in a U.S. District Court, and another 60 in the Court of Appeals. Sixteen lawyers have clerked for a U.S. Supreme Court justice.
- Several Cleary Gottlieb lawyers also clerked in the highest U.S. State courts, as well as foreign courts, including the European Court of Justice.
- Associates generally receive seniority credits for each year of a clerkship.
- New or returning associates who have completed one or more clerkships also are entitled to a bonus.
