Yong Guk Lee is a partner based in the Seoul office.
Mr. Lee's practice focuses on international securities, M&A and corporate matters, including cross-border securities offerings and acquisitions involving Korean entities.
Mr. Lee joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 1999. From 1995 to 1997 and again from 2004 to 2012, he was resident in the Hong Kong office. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Lee was on a leave of absence and worked at the law firm of Kim & Chang in Seoul, Korea and at the International Law Section of the Korean Ministry of National Defense Legal Affairs Office. He received a J.D. degree,
cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1989 and an undergraduate degree,
cum laude, from Princeton University in 1986.
Mr. Lee is a member of the Bar in New York, and a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong. His native language is Korean and he is fluent in English, as well as proficient in French.
