David Yudin’s practice focuses on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds.

He has extensive experience organizing and advising private investment funds, including buyout funds, credit funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, and other types of “alternative asset” investment vehicles. David also advises private investment funds in their investment activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and shareholder arrangements with portfolio companies and among private equity consortium members.

David joined the firm in 2001, became a senior attorney in 2011, and became counsel in 2020.

  • TPG, Carlyle Group, Sixth Street Partners, MBK Partners, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and iCapital in connection with investment fund formation projects ranging from emerging market credit funds to private equity funds and fund of funds, and co-investment and consortium arrangements related to fund acquisitions.
