Paris: Stagiaire Program

The Paris office regularly hires stagiaires, typically for three months internships. Candidates interested in an internship in our Paris office are welcome to send by e-mail or regular mail a cover letter and their curriculum vitae to the attention of the Paris Recruiting Department Assistant. Although this is not a pre-requisite, stagiaires generally have already completed several years of legal studies, and often stages at other firms, before they join us. Internships at our firm qualify for mandatory stages required towards the Certificat d’aptitude à la profession d’avocat (CAPA).

Selected applicants will be invited for interviews with one or more partners and/or associates in Paris. The process may involve several rounds of interviews. Decisions to recruit interns for the Paris office are taken by the Paris Personnel Committee on the basis of academic achievements of the applicants and their evaluation by partners and/or associates who interviewed them.

The firm participates in a number of events organized in France by law schools (Paris I, Paris II, Paris X, etc.), business schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP-EAP, etc.), political sciences schools (Instituts d’études politiques) and other academic institutions to provide students with information on the firm and career opportunities it offers. Typically, the purpose of these events is informational only and students wishing to apply for an internship must apply separately to the Paris Office Hiring Partner.
