Katharina Apel is an associate based in the Cologne office.

Ms. Apel joined the firm in 2009. Ms. Apel received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 2006. She passed her second state examination in the State of Hamburg in 2009 and the first state examination at the University of Göttingen in 2002. Ms. Apel also received a degree in economics at the University of Göttingen in 2004. From 2002 through 2005, Ms. Apel worked as a research assistant at the chair for civil law, trade and commercial law, multimedia and telecommunications law at the University of Göttingen.
Ms. Apel is a member of the bar in Cologne. Her native language is German and she is fluent in English.
