Giulia F. Gosi is a senior attorney based in the Rome office.

Ms. Gosi’s practice focuses on international arbitration. She regularly represents corporations and sovereigns in commercial and BIT arbitrations before various arbitral forums.

Recent matters in which Ms. Gosi has been involved include advice and assistance to E.T.I. Euro Telecom International N.V., a Dutch subsidiary of the Telecom Italia group, in UNCITRAL proceedings brought against the Plurinational State of Bolivia under the Netherlands-Bolivia bilateral investment treaty; to the Russian Federation in SCC proceedings brought by a former minority shareholder of Yukos Oil Company under the UK-Russia bilateral investment treaty; to the Russian Federation in UNCITRAL proceedings brought by an Italian investor under the Italy-Russia bilateral investment treaty; and to Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane S.p.A. in proceedings brought against KLM over a failed joint venture. Ms. Gosi is currently assisting the Russian Federation in a major international arbitration filed by the former shareholders of Yukos Oil Company under the Energy Charter Treaty.

Ms. Gosi publishes regularly on Italian and international arbitration matters.

She joined the firm's Rome office in 1999, when she graduated with honors from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". She received a Diplôme de droit comparé from the Institut de droit comparé of the University of Paris II, Panthèon-Assas in 1997 and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2003.

Ms. Gosi has been a member of the Bar in Rome since 2003. She is a member of ArbIt, the Italian forum on international arbitration and ADR, and of the Italian Arbitration Association (AIA). Her native language is Italian and she is fluent in English and French.
