Carlo de Vito Piscicelli is counsel based in the Milan office.
Mr. de Vito Piscicelli’s practice focuses on leveraged finance and restructuring matters and he advises clients globally on a wide variety of loan facilities, high yield notes and related derivatives transactions.
Mr. de Vito Piscicelli is currently representing Warburg Pincus in the acquisition of Endurance International Group from Accel-KKR. He recently represented RegionalCare Hospital Partners in the acquisition of Essent Healthcare from Vestar Capital Partners; Warburg Pincus and Vestar Capital Partners in the acquisition of Triton Containers International; Alkermes, Inc. in its business combination with Elan Drug Technologies; Valerus Compression Services in its credit facility amendment and secured note issuance; IASIS Healthcare in its refinancing of senior secured credit facilities and senior unsecured high-yield notes; and First Reserve Corporation in its acquisition of a stake in Ansaldo Energia from Finmeccanica.
He advised TPG Capital and Affinity Equity Partners in their acquisition of United Test and Assembly Center, the largest covenant-lite LBO in Asia to date; Mediobanca in the Ferretti Group’s restructuring; and Terex in the acquisition and debt restructuring of the Fantuzzi Reggiane Group. He has advised many Italian clients on financing and restructuring matters over the years, including Finmeccanica, Fiat, Intesa Sanpaolo and Technogym.

Mr. de Vito Piscicelli joined the firm in 2004 and became counsel in 2010. From 2004 to 2010, he was resident in the Milan and London offices, and from 2010 to 2012, he was resident in the New York office. He graduated,
summa cum laude, from the Law School of Milan University in 1996 and worked as a trainee at Studio Legale Pedersoli until May 1999. He received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 2000 and was associated with the firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York until June 2004.
Mr. de Vito Piscicelli has been a member of the New York Bar since 2001 and a member of the Milan Bar since 2000. He is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English and French.
