Pierantonio D’Elia is an associate based in the Rome office.
Mr. D’Elia’s practice mainly focuses on EU law and both EU and Italian competition law. He also has experience in civil litigation and sports law.
Mr. D’Elia joined the firm in 2003. He was resident in the Rome office until 2008 and resident in the Brussels office from 2008 to 2010. Mr. D’Elia graduated,
cum laude, from the University of Bari in 2001 and received a D.E.S. degree,
cum laude, from the Institute of European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2002. He received an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2006 and a Ph.D. from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. D’Elia worked as an intern at the Legal Service of the Italian Antitrust Authority from 2002 to 2003.
Mr. D’Elia has been a member of the Bar in Rome since 2005. He is a native Italian speaker, is fluent in English and French and has a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish.
