Alexander D. Mandzhiev is an associate based in the Moscow office.
Mr. Mandzhiev’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, particularly equity and debt securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Mandzhiev joined the firm as an associate in 2008 after working in the firm as a paralegal and a stagiaire from 2006 to 2008. He received a LL.M. degree from the University of Chicago in 2010 and a J.D. equivalent,
summa cum laude, from Moscow State University Law School in 2007. Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb, Mr. Mandzhiev practised as a trainee lawyer in PricewaterhouseCoopers CIS Law Offices B.V. from 2005 to 2006.
Mr. Mandzhiev is a qualified Russian lawyer. His native language is Russian and he is fluent in English.
