Sam Bagot is a partner based in the London office.
Mr. Bagot’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions. He has extensive experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other corporate transactions (including joint ventures and corporate restructurings). He also has experience in capital markets transactions and in emerging market and cross-border international transactions. Mr. Bagot has represented a wide range of corporate and private equity clients in recent years.
Mr. Bagot was named as a “Star Partner” in
The Lawyer’s 2011 Transatlantic Elite review of Energy and Resource lawyers. He is also recognized as a leading M&A lawyer by
The Legal 500 UK.
Mr. Bagot obtained an LLM degree, with first class honours, from the University of Cambridge and an LLB degree, also with first class honours, from the University of Adelaide. He also holds a Masters degree in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.
Mr. Bagot is a frequent speaker on a variety of legal topics including at Lexis Nexis conferences and training programs.
Mr. Bagot is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and also in the Supreme Courts of Victoria and South Australia.
