Alina Zagaytova is an associate based in the New York office.
Ms. Zagaytova’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity and international project finance. Ms. Zagaytova has extensive experience in international transactions in energy, particularly renewable energy and clean tech, and in infrastructure, natural resources and aerospace.
Ms. Zagaytova joined the firm in 2011. She received a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003. Ms. Zagaytova was an associate in the Washington office of Hogan Lovells LLP from 2007-2011. In 2010, Ms. Zagaytova completed a 6-month secondment as an in-house attorney at Barclays Capital Inc., in New York. In 2007, Ms. Zagaytova worked as a legal researcher for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and in 2005 as a legal consultant for the World Bank in Washington D.C. In 2003, Ms. Zagaytova worked for Marsh & McLennan in Paris on international aviation and aerospace reinsurance transactions.
Ms. Zagaytova is a member of the Bars in New York and Washington D.C. Her native language is Russian, and she is fluent in English and French.
