Ms. Schwing joined the firm in 2010. Ms. Schwing received her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in 2004; she attended law school while working at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner. She received a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America in 1998. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schwing clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge H.F. "Sparky" Gierke at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Ms. Schwing is a member of the District of Columbia Bar; she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
