Michael A. Mazzuchi is a partner based in the Washington, D.C. office.
Mr. Mazzuchi’s practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, particularly domestic and international structured finance and derivatives matters.
He has extensive experience in mortgage and asset securitizations, collateralized bond obligation transactions, synthetic debt securities and repackagings, credit derivative transactions and interest rate, currency and equity derivatives. He is distinguished as one of the leading capital markets lawyers by

Mr. Mazzuchi joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 2001.
He received a J.D. degree,
magna cum laude, in 1992 from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a member of the editorial board of the
Michigan Law Review.
He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1989.
