The article examines the HMRC Cryptoassets Manual, which includes “significant new developments, including a broadening of the categories of cryptoassets covered, analysis of crypto-derivatives, and consideration of the tax consequences of ‘validating’ and ‘staking’ in ‘proof of stake’ networks.”
