Carlo Meert is an associate based in the Brussels office.
Mr. Meert’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions.
Mr. Meert joined the firm in 2005, after receiving an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 2005. From 2005 to 2006, he was resident in the New York office. Mr. Meert received a law degree in 2003, and a notary degree in 2004, from the Catholic University of Leuven, and participated in the Erasmus program at the Universidad de Granada (Spain). He also received a Master in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven in 1999. In 2002 Mr. Meert was a part-time teaching assistant at the Contract and Property Research Alliance of the Catholic University Leuven.
Mr. Meert is admitted to the Bars in New York and Brussels. His native language is Dutch and he is fluent in French and English and has a fair knowledge of Spanish.
