Yu (Haley) Wu is an associate based in the Hong Kong office.
Ms. Wu’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and capital market transactions. She also has extensive experience in cross-border transactions.
Ms. Wu joined the firm in 2007. She received an LL.M. degree in international taxation from New York University School of Law in 2007, where she studied as a Wallace Scholar. In addition, she received an LL.M. degree and an LL.B. degree from Xiamen (Amoy) University School of Law in 2001 and 1998 respectively. From 2001 to 2006, she worked as an associate in the Shanghai office of Fangda Partners, a Chinese law firm based in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing.
Ms. Wu is a member of the Bar in New York. Ms. Wu is a native speaker of Mandarin and Taiwanese, and she is fluent in English.
