David W.S. Yudin is a senior attorney based in the New York office.
Mr. Yudin’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, particularly private equity fund formation and private equity investment. He has extensive experience organizing and advising private investment funds, including buyout funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and other types of “alternative asset” investment vehicles. He also advises private investment funds in their investment activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and shareholder arrangements with portfolio companies and among private equity consortium members.
Mr. Yudin‘s recent experience includes representing Credit Suisse in raising a $1 billion emerging markets credit opportunity fund; MBK Partners in raising its most recent fund; Deutsche Bank in connection with certain fund of funds; and TPG in connection with a number of its funds and investment activities, including its $5.9 billion leveraged acquisition, together with CPP Investment Board Private Holdings and Leonard Green & Partners, of IMS Health Incorporated.
Mr. Yudin joined the firm in 2001 and became a senior attorney in 2011. He received L.L.B. and B.C.L. degrees, with great distinction, from McGill University, Faculty of Law in 2001. In 2005 and 2006, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Morris J. Fish of the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mr. Yudin is a member of the Bar in New York. His native language is English and he is fluent in French and Hebrew.
