He received a J.D. degree, with Honors, Order of the Coif, in 2011 from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review, a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar, and recipient of the Morrison Foerster Prize for an Outstanding Legal Brief. He received an undergraduate degree,
magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 2005.
