Russell H. Pollack

Russell H. Pollack’s practice focuses on international mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and other financial and corporate matters, including project and structured finance, acquisition finance and joint ventures. He also has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector.

Russell was one of the founders of Cleary’s Moscow office in 1991 and has worked on numerous M&A, joint venture, capital markets and other transactions in and involving Russia.

He joined the firm in 1979 and became a partner in 1988. Russell has been resident in the New York office (1979-1981, 1984-1988 and 1996-2002), Frankfurt (1992-1996), Paris (1981-1984, 1989-1992, 2002-2006 and 2009-2012) and Moscow (2006-2009 and 2012-2022).
