Carlo Santoro is a partner based in the Milan office.
Mr. Santoro’s practice focuses on domestic and international litigation and arbitration. He regularly represents domestic and foreign clients in a wide range of disputes involving corporate, commercial, banking and financial matters, as well as bankruptcy and competition issues across numerous different industries, including energy and media.
Mr. Santoro joined the firm in 2003 and became a partner in 2012. He worked in the Rome office from 2003 to 2009. He graduated with honors from the Law School of the University of Turin in 1998 and received an LL.M. from the New York University School of Law in 2003. He studied as an Erasmus Student at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands from 1996 to 1997 and was a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics in 1998. Prior to attending the LL.M. program in New York, he was an associate at the law firm Tosetto, Weigmann e Associati in Turin, where he was primarily involved in civil and commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Santoro has been a member of the Bar in Italy since 2001. His native language is Italian and he is fluent in English.
