Frederieke Compernolle is a senior attorney based in the Brussels office.
Ms. Compernolle’s practice focuses on Belgian and international tax and corporate issues, mainly relating to capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financial products and employee remuneration. She also regularly advises on intellectual property law and data privacy issues.
Ms. Compernolle joined the firm in 2003 and became a senior attorney in 2011. She received an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2003 and a Mastère en Gestion Fiscale,
magna cum laude, from the Ecole de Commerce Solvay, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, in 2002. In 2000, she received her law degree,
magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. In 1999, Ms. Compernolle studied at the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor.
Ms. Compernolle is a member of the Brussels Bar. Her native language is Dutch and she is fluent in English and French.
