Claudio Di Falco is counsel resident in the Rome office.
Mr. Di Falco’s practice focuses on Italian corporate and financial transactions, particularly securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions.
He has participated in a number of capital market transactions including the recent €8 billion rights offering by Enel and Enel’s $4.5 billion notes offering, as well as the initial public offerings of Prysmian and Aicon. He advised the Republic of Argentina and the Province of Buenos Aires in connection with the public exchange offers they have made in Italy, and Enel in connection with the third and fourth tranches of its privatization. Mr. Di Falco has also assisted corporate borrowers and lenders in connection with structuring and negotiating financing transactions, including acquisition financings, stand-by financings and securitizations.

Chambers Europe.
Mr. Di Falco joined the firm in 1999 and became a counsel in 2008. He worked in the New York office from March 2002 through May 2003. He graduated with honors from the law school of the University of Palermo in 1993 and obtained a Dottorato di Ricerca (Ph.D. equivalent) in comparative law from that institution in 1998. He received an LL.M. degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Di Falco was an associate of Studio Legale Noto-Sardegna in Palermo from 1993 to 1998.
Mr. Di Falco has been a member of the Bar of Palermo (Italy) since 1996 and a member of the New York Bar since 2003. He is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English.
