Deborah Janssens is counsel based in the Brussels office.
Ms. Janssens’ practice focuses on various aspects of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and restructuring.

Ms. Janssens joined the firm in 1999 and became counsel in 2008. She received an LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law in 1999 and graduated,
magna cum laude, from the Law School of the University of Leuven (Belgium) in 1998. Ms. Janssens previously studied at the Universities of Namur (Belgium) and Heidelberg (Germany). From 2003 to 2009, Ms. Janssens has been teaching corporate law as an assistant to Professor Geens at the Jan Ronse Instituut of the University of Leuven (K.U.L.). She has also published articles in the area of corporate law.
Ms. Janssens is a member of the Bar in Brussels and New York. Her native language is Dutch and she is fluent in French and English. She has a working knowledge of German, and has a fair knowledge of Spanish.
