Frank Lohrmann is counsel based in the Frankfurt office.

Mr. Lohrmann’s practice focuses on capital markets transactions and on mergers & acquisitions involving, in particular, German companies. He is a co-author of the book "German Takeover Law – A Commentary", published by C.H. Beck in Germany in the spring of 2002.

Mr. Lohrmann advised Commerzbank in its €11 billion two-step securities offering. In 2010, he advised Sal. Oppenheim and BHF-BANK in the sale of BHF Asset Servicing GmbH and Frankfurter Service Kapitalanlage-Gesellschaft mbH to The Bank of New York Mellon. In 2008, Mr. Lohrmann represented Deutsche Post in its €1 billion sale of around 1,300 real estate properties to U.S. investor Lone Star.

Mr. Lohrmann joined the firm in 1997 and became counsel in 2005. He was resident in the New York office from 1997 to 1998. Mr. Lohrmann received an LL.M. degree from University of Michigan Law School in 1997. He passed the second state law examination in the State of Hamburg in 1996 and the first state law examination at the University of Hamburg in 1993. From 1994 to 1996, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Hamburg.

Mr. Lohrmann is a member of the Bars in Frankfurt am Main and New York. His native language is German, and he is fluent in English.
