Laurent A. Ruzette is a partner based in the Brussels office.
Mr. Ruzette’s practice focuses on tax and securities law and corporate finance. He is frequently involved in securities offerings for Belgian issuers. He also has extensive experience in the areas of Belgian corporate law and the privatization of Belgian government-controlled entities.
Mr. Ruzette joined the firm in 1996, became counsel in 2004 and became a partner in 2012. He received an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in 1996. He received a post-graduate degree in tax law from the Economische Hogeschool Sint-Aloysius in 1995 and a law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Louvain in 1993.
Mr. Ruzette is a member of the Bars in Brussels and of the International Fiscal Association. His native language is French, and he is fluent in English and Dutch.
